Faith, Grace, Authenticity, Care
About
My name is Alphonsia Eleko, but everyone calls me Sisi. I was born on December 9, 2002, making me 21 years old. Though of Congolese origin, I was born and raised in Canada. My basketball journey began at Saint Laurent High School, where I achieved the honor of being a 2-time RSEQ D1 Champion. Later, at New Hope Academy, I served as team captain and earned the MVP title for the 2021-22 season.
I've chosen to share my testimony, my story. It wasn't a smooth journey, nor was it built on confidence. I wasn't one of those players who received recognition or was in the spotlight growing up. There was no exposure for me like many others, so I'm passionate about sharing my journey to help other young athletes navigate theirs.
Mission
Our mission is to empower and inspire youth, particularly young athletes, by creating a space for sharing authentic stories and testimonies. We believe in the power of personal narratives to spark hope, resilience, and self-belief in individuals facing challenges. Through mentorship, storytelling, and community-building, we aim to uplift and support every young person, especially those who may feel overlooked or lacking in confidence, fostering a culture of inclusivity, empowerment, and positive change.
